There is NO LATEX RUBBER or common rubber used in the manufacture of HandsOn® Gloves!
Some insect repellant liquids or sprays may contain chemicals or substances which deteriorate synthetic product components in all synthetic products produced by many manufacturers, not just our gloves; so, please read the product safety labels for your protection. Our product components generally have high resistance to chemicals, oils and punctures; this is accomplished without compromising elasticity and flexible strength. That’s the foundation of tough and durable HandsOn® Gloves!
The HandsOn Gloves’ palms and nodules are designed and formulated to provide good longevity but are also designed not to be too hard or coarse so as to provide the best tactile response for the user while not causing any discomfort to the animal.
Whilst the glove is designed to last for several hundred washes, like any item designed for a variable amount of use, its lasting life will depend on the frequency and type of use. With proper care and usage and the gloves will potentially provide effective and rewarding grooming to the owners and their animals for years to come. In a commercial situation longevity will vary, depending on the number of uses per day and the conditions in which the HandsOn Gloves are utilised.
HandsOn Gloves are only designed for animal grooming and washing. Any other type of use, such as general farm work, rigging, digging, fencing etc will have a greater impact on the lifespan of the product. If HandsOn Gloves were designed for general duties they would lose effectiveness as the ultimate grooming product.
